Millennium Soil^TM is our soil substitute. It's a safe, non-toxic, and an environmentally friendly material that starts out in crystal form. When the crystals are placed in water, each one of them absorbs water like a powerful sponge. We call this process "Hydration". During this process each crystal absorbs so much water that they "grow" to about the size of a quarter! At this point, the Millennium Soil^TM looks like crystal clear chunks of white Jell-O. There is no messing with dirt or soil, no mess and your plant will be maintenance-free for 1 or 2 months (no watering!).
